Dan Wood

Director, FA Registered Intermediary/RFU Licensed Agent

Heading up the sports management team, Dan oversees all representation matters for Endgame’s clients. Through his strong relationships in the professional sports world, from the boardroom to the training field, Dan is able to provide specialised advice and representation at every stage of a clients’ career. As a FA registered intermediary – having previously been licensed by FIFA prior to deregulation – Dan is also licensed by the RFU, and provides qualified and experienced guidance in contract negotiations for players and clubs.

Steve Berry

Director, Sport Business

Steve is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, who has considerable experience of working with individual sportsmen, clubs and leisure businesses. His track record of successes include advising on player contracts through to the sale of premier league football clubs and stadium developments. Steve brings a mix of legal, finance and business skills to the Endgame team and he also sits on the board of a number of successful companies.

Mark Fletcher

Football Consultant

Mark joined The Endgame Group in 2012. His primary roles include identifying and supporting professional footballers. He is a former academy footballer with Blackburn Rovers and went on to play NCAA collegiate soccer in the United States before retiring from competitive football due to serious injury. Now a qualified teacher with a degree in sports and exercise science, Mark possesses FA qualifications in talent identification and utilises both his education and football experience within his working role.

Owain Tudur Jones

A former Welsh international footballer and Endgame client, Owain enjoyed a 14-year career, including playing for Swansea City, Norwich City and Hibernian. Now a respected BBC Wales and S4C media pundit, Owain's experience in the media makes him a valuable resource for Endgame’s clients. His guidance and support helps Endgame’s clients navigate the media and avoid potential pitfalls.

Jared Ursell

Dispute Resolution & Litigation

As an experienced dispute resolution lawyer, Jared has advised private individuals and large organisations on a wide-range of disputes. Jared has a particular interest in the sport sector and regularly advises players and professional clubs in relation to complex commercial contract disputes including representation agreements, professional negligence claims against former advisors, the recovery of substantial debts and insolvency matters.

Jon Lawley

Sport Business & Commercial

Jon regularly advises both Endgame and its clients on a wide range of areas including commercial contracts, player contracts, sponsorship agreements and representation agreements. An experienced corporate and commercial solicitor, he has also advise a number of sportsmen, sports bodies and sports teams on commercial contract and financial arrangements.

Claire Knowles

Employment Law

Claire provides employment guidance to our clients on various aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Claire and the employment team have advised various clubs in respect of their policies and procedures, contractual documentation (including settlement agreements) employment disputes and carrying out disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings. The employment team regularly acts for players and shareholders of local, regional and national sports teams with particular focus on professional rugby and football.
